“Hybrid Practice” group show at Olson Larsen Galleries, West Des Moines, IA: 12/9/23- 2/10/24

I am excited to announce that I will be a part of a group exhibition of Iowa artists co-curated by Alyss Vernon and Kathy Edwards Hayslett. You will see a mix of Olson-Larsen Galleries artists and invited artists who employ media and techniques that challenge oversimplified notions of what it is to be an artist.  The word “hybrid” in this exhibition means that the fourteen Iowa-based artists in the exhibition work in different techniques or styles. Several of the exhibiting artists work in multiple media, such as painting and ceramics, or metal and fabric. Others combine techniques in the same work, and still others work in totally different styles all together.

My artworks include jewelry (necklaces, and brooches) with meditational drawings and meixed midea paintings.

OPENING RECEPTION:  Saturday, December 9th, 2pm – 5pm
